this survey is not accurate, OUTSTANDING is missing because that would describe Dr. Karaikovic. He is such an amazing doctor, 15 days I suffered- unable to walk or sit and just with medication I had hours without pain. Best of all after surgery, I am able to sit up.

I love Dr. K! He is a wonderful person, understanding doctor and a man of God. He fixed my back, I’m walking and feel so much better. So to say first doctor did not do a good job. So glad I found Dr. K.

Dr. Karaikovic is someone both my husband and I know as a friend. We have heard many good things about him. He lived up to them all and was very helpful.

I felt rushed, that Dr. K was too busy, as if my issue was common. I did not feel my extreme pain was recognized, however so far, Dr. K is correct. After going through this, Feeling rushed through my visit was off putting. but I understand. Its important that my correction, PT & healing is permanent so this problem doesn’t interfere with life anymore

Dr. K. is as good as they come. Great surgeon with a great bedside manner. He showed interest in my life and even in my wife’s health. He is a treasure.

*Dr. Karaikovic is an excellent dr. and a great person. However, that is in regards to any doctors with _____ they must spend too much time with a computer leaving less and less time for a patient!!!

Dr K and his office staff are exceptional. it had been a year since I saw Dr K and a new person met me first and she was very pleasant. Once Dr K entered the office he was all smiles. He was wonderful to me and my husband.

I did not realize I had seen this Dr before in 2014. He was the 1st Northshore Dr I ever had an appointment with and he did not address my real issues at the time. a year later I was referred for a spinal fusion of the T6-T7 by a totally different doctor that was much more in touch with identifying the cause of my symptoms.

He was amazing. I was concerned that he had lunch, but he said that was fine. I was concerned about the other patients after me, but he was not rushed and gave me his undivided attention. I said good for explanation as I wish he could tell me more, but he said without MRI, he can’t say more regarding the cause of pain.

Doctor was very professional and spent a lot of time with me reviewing CT’s and MRI.

Doctor answered all my questions with information that I could understand. He explained the x-rays and my options going forward. The doctor also had another patient that he asked if I wanted to talk to her. This was very helpful and I appreciated that he thought to do this. He also had the nurse provide printouts of exercises for me. Sometime in the future I will need surgery. I feel very comfortable with having him perform the surgery.

The doctors who practice at NorthShore Univ HlthSys are kept so busy that they hardly have time to do their job. Dr. Kraikovic did his best, but had to scan my patient record and type in the after-visit summary during the short time he was allowed to see me. This is asking way too much of your medical staff. I am perfectly happy to wait for a few days for my after visit summary if it mean having more of my doctor’s attention.

I had surgery under one doctor before Dr K was recommended to me. I truly wish I’d known about him first. I think my back surgeries neeeded to have operated on with the expertise and caliber of a doctor like Dr K. I wonder if I’d had to go through as many surgeries as I did if Dr K had been the original Doctor.

This experience was consistent with my previous experience with North Shore physicians. I have always found them to be be respectful (not as common a characteristic as one would hope), friendly, and clear and straightforward with information.

Dr. Karaikovic was super. Very informative and courteous. Dr. Karaikovic preformed surgery on my back in 2011 and was very pleased with his work that was done. I was very pleased to see that he was still with NorthShore and we have recommend his services to many of our friends & family members.
